Past Display Boards Around the School



 

Reception Class have been studying the Coral Sea. The children have drawn and painted pictures of creatures they might find in the sea.




 

In Geography Year 1 have been looking at where they live in Sandown. In Technology the children have made houses using two different types of hinges.

 

In History and Design Technology Year 2 have been doing lots of work on the Fire of London. 

 


Year 3 looked at the Ancient Egyptians in History. In ICT the children found a website that changed their names into hieroglyphics and in Art the children were encouraged to experiment with charcoal to produce these pictures of Pharaoh Tutenkhamun.




Year 3 have used drama to help them to write shape poems about the pyramids and the lives of the Egyptian farmers .



 

Year 4 pupils have been looking at the Tudors. In English they have thought about what type of character King Henry VIII was. In Art they have produced these portraits of the King using paint and pastels.
